A parent must accompany their children at all times. The event is free and no registration is required. \nSun\, Nov 19\, 3:30pm-6:30pm Holly Days 2023\, Pittsboro’s Tree Lighting Celebration\nThe Pittsboro Business Association invites you to downtown Pittsboro for a fun-filled tree-lighting ceremony. Santa will be there\, and there will be plenty of things to do for all ages. The event includes food trucks\, an assortment of entertainment on the main stage\, a train ride\, a bouncy house\, and a vendor market. \nSun\, Dec 10\, 3pm-6pm Downtown Pittsboro Christmas Parade\nHoliday traditions return to Pittsboro! The annual Christmas Parade features beautifully decorated floats built by local groups and businesses\, fun costumes and floats\, twinkling holiday lights\, and more. SUMMARY:Pittsboro Treasure Quest
DESCRIPTION:Participate in a scavenger hunt (in teams of up to 6 people) to find the treasure\, with prizes of $500 for first place\, $300 for second place\, and $200 for third place. The adventure begins with a kickoff at the SoCo patio\, with live music and a festive start. Judges and the party will be stationed at The Mod. \nBegin at 10:30am with a packet of clues leading to local businesses\, landmarks\, and special guest locations. Teams will complete a challenge before heading to their next stop. Prizes will be awarded for the best team name\, car decoration\, and costumes. \nThe highest scoring teams will win the biggest prizes\, but no group will leave empty handed. \nThe entry fee is $25/team for early registrations and $30 after April 15.
