Women and their families are taking care of the land and providing their communities with freshly picked berries and flowers\, produce\, outdoor experiences\, farm school\, Christmas trees\, and more. \nApex Flower Farm\, in partnership with six other farms in the Apex area\, is opening up to show you how they do what they do! Join them for She Farms Apex 2023 on Sat\, Apr 15\, 10am-3pm. Tour their farms\, enjoy the landscape\, and learn about local agriculture. Plus – enter to win a fun farm surprise goodie basket at any tour location! Participating farms include: \n\nFarrells Creek Farm.\nJordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm.\nPack House Farm.\nSun Star Farm School.\nJean’s Neighborhood Market.\nCloer Family Vineyards.\nApex Flower Farm.\n\nTours start at the top and bottom of every hours. You choose your route – start at any farm you like. All of their tours require walking. Each location is a working farm with limited handicap accessibility and a likelihood of muddy terrain. Bathroom facilities are limited. This event takes place rain or shine. Advance purchase required. Early registration is $20 per carload. After Apr 1\, the price increases to $25 per carload. \nPlease note: this is not a pet-friendly event – no dogs\, please. Some of their farms have working animals\, and others require no pets for food safety considerations.
