Pittsboro Gallery of Arts hosts receptions on the 2nd Friday of every month, art classes, and other special events.

When you visit Pittsboro Gallery of Arts, you’ll find it’s a destination gallery, situated in a historic, bustling small town. It’s located just a few steps from the County Courthouse Circle. At the gallery, you can view the fine art and fine craft work of each member. On display, you’ll find work in many mediums: paintings, photography, ceramics, mosaics, fiber, jewelry, and woodwork.

This fun, free family event encourages everyone to get outside and explore Pittsboro. Seven embellished rabbit statues will be hidden outside along Hillsboro Street and in the immediate vicinity. Find a rabbit and, without removing it, take a photo of yourself. The first 25 visitors to take a photo with at least five rabbits will receive a $10 voucher to be redeemed at one of the participating downtown businesses.

In acknowledgment of Pittsboro’s thriving creative culture, the seven rabbit statues will be embellished by local artists, including several members of the Pittsboro Gallery of Arts. This event also includes a StoryBook Walk with pages posted in storefronts along Hillsboro and Salisbury Streets as well as story time in Page Vernon Park from 12pm-1pm. Bring the whole family to come out and join us!
