Tuesdays, Feb 7-Apr 25, 5:30pm-7:30pm Young Chefs After School Cooking Program Spring 2023
Join the Circle City Supper Club chefs for after school culinary skill building for students ages 8 and up. Their chef instructors will lead them through a culinary introduction to all the basic skills needed to get them started in the kitchen at home and beyond.

Each week students will prepare and enjoy their dinner while covering a vast array of culinary skills. The semester will culminate with a fabulous dinner for parents so the young chefs can show off all they have learned.

This is a very hands on class with open flames and real knives.  Serious participation, respect and attention is needed to not only ensure everyone’s safety but to ensure that everyone in the class has fun, receives the best instruction and gets to eat the most delicious meal possible at the end of the night.

The price for campers is $450 for the entire eleven-week session and includes two tickets to the final dinner. Monthly payment options are available at checkout. They do not offer drop in or weekly classes. Tuition is non-refundable once the session starts but is transferable. Classes will not take place Apr 11.

This class is located in Bynum at the Bynum Methodist Church Community Center. Drop off is no earlier than 5:15pm. Pickup is at 7:30pm. Circle City Supper Club will provide all equipment necessary. Closed toe shoes and pulled back hair are required at all times – no exceptions.

Thursdays, Mar 2-Apr 27, 5pm-7:30pm Young Bakers After School Program
Circle City’s chef instructors will lead participants through a culinary introduction to all the basic baking skills. Each week, students ages 8 and up will prepare a variety of pastries and a simple savory baked meal for dinner. Parents can register for this class as well and have a fun family learning experience (limited to parent, grandparent, guardian, or family member of a registered student).

Skills will include cake and cookie baking and decorating, quick breads, pies and tarts, custards and soufflés, bars and brownies, and savory baked dishes. This is a very technique driven class.  Serious participation, respect and attention to detail is needed to not only ensure everyone’s safety but to ensure that everyone has fun and learns all the best baking tricks and tips.

The price for students (parents and/or kids) is $400 per person for the entire eight week session. Students will be responsible for brining a three-ring binder and sheet protector for their recipes. Tuition is non-refundable once the session starts but is transferable.

This class is located between Pittsboro and Siler City at the Inn at Celebrity Dairy. Drop off is no earlier than 4:45pm. Pickup is at 7:30 pm. Circle City Supper Club will provide all equipment necessary. Closed toe shoes and pulled back hair are required at all times – no exceptions.
