Grand Finale Exhibition: THE CHANGE SHOW
A one-night exhibition featuring 12 artists exploring the theme of CHANGE.
Fri, Apr 20, 6pm - 9pm

Featuring Local Artists:
Salinda Dahl Gray Guy Carol Kroll-Tinsky Sarah Kuhn Gabe de Paz Katherine Ladd Stacye Leanza Cindy Monte Trace Ramsey Eddie White Harry Wurster and more.

The Artists were invited to make and exhibit work using this inspiration:
"The only constant in life is change. Much change in life we have no control over. It just happens and we adapt. But some change we deliberate on and initiate ourselves. Sometimes this process is easy, clear, and painless. More often it involves swimming through unknown territory and stretching ourselves way beyond what we thought possible in order to see what is next. Sometimes we make small change, some times huge change, but either way the result is a new perspective that then changes us. The artists were invited to contemplate this in their lives and make work about it. Perhaps this has inspired them to produce a piece that illustrates change in some way. Or it inspired them to change their artistic process or media, step outside of the comfort zone, and see what happens!"

Hotel Hadley Studios closing news:
It is with a bittersweet sigh that I inform you that the Hotel Hadley Studios will be closing its doors for good on May 15. Drucilla is shifting to a home studio practice and I am headed to Greensboro to attend graduate school for elementary education and to continue making art. Cooperating and working at the Hotel has been a dream come true for me. It is a hugely inspiring space that we could work, play, exhibit, and socialize in. I am so grateful to have been a part of such an amazing space. I have had a great time, learned a lot, and most importantly met lots of great people. Life is full of twists and turns and adventures and now for me it is on to the next...but I am not leaving Siler City completely. I'll only be a half hour up the road and still involved in some projects and good times in Siler.
With Gratitude and Warm Spring Wishes, Sarah

Hope to see you April 20th!
