Juan Cure and Samantha Hess - Corporate Sales
The biggest news this year for corporate groups involves our casual restaurant, The Fearrington Granary. This summer we expanded the bar area, added two flat screen TVs, updated the menu, and most importantly, started dinner service! The Granary's expanded service has been a big hit so far with our corporate groups, and that's because it:
- Offers a more affordable overnight package (includes dinner, a night at The Inn and a full day meeting) for $295 (a savings of $55 per person compared to The Fearrington House package option).
-Serves dinner every night except Sunday (The Fearrington House Restaurant is closed Mon/Tues)
- Allows us to provide a variety of dining experiences for groups here on multiple nights
- Offers several medium sized private dining rooms
- Has a casual pub atmosphere - a great way to relax after a long day of meetings!
Speaking of good food and wine, don't forget that this year Wine Director Max Kast launched some group wine and beer classes perfect for corporate groups. At an hour or so in length, they are a great substitute for a reception before dinner, or as a quick activity to complete the end of the day - all led by Max, one of the top sommeliers in the South!
And as the temperatures drop this winter, remember than there are several roaring (and welcoming) fireplaces at Fearrington! Two meeting rooms - the Library at McIntyre's and The Red Room - have fireplaces. They can also be found in The Fearrington House Restaurant, the Garden House (for Inn guests) and in our mid-sized catering facility, the Garden Terrace. The fireplaces are definitely something unique to our property and guests really love the cozy feel in the winter. We hope to see you by one this season!
Thanks, and have a wonderful holiday season!
