Take tours with Esta Cohen on her farm. Cohen Farm is a working farm specializing in organic grain-fed meats. Cohen Farm is one of NC’s pioneer organic farms and has been selling local beef, pork, eggs, organic hay and grain for 40 years.
Today, it’s protected certified organic pastureland, with over 100 acres of prime soils, and a historic homestead from the 1800s.?Esta is one of Chatham County’s first People-First Tourism micro-entrepreneurs. Tour 1
Cohen Farm raises organic hay and grain fed chickens, cows and pigs. This package includes a 1-hour farm visit with a tour explaining the farm?? activities and an up-close visit to farm animals. In addition, the package includes a $40 voucher to use towards the purchase of meat or eggs (visitors should bring a cooler to transport their meat/eggs home safely.

Esta and her husband also have a generous vegetable garden and they sell organic grain to local bakeries. This package includes a two-hour farm visit with a tour explaining the Cohen?? organic farming practices and an up-close visit to farm animals. The package is designed for families and groups interested in a ??ehind the scenes??experience to learn about organic farming and about the lifestyle of a couple who devote their lives to taking care of a 220 acre farm.
Price: $30 for five passengers or less ($10/extra passenger to pay on-site).
