Handsaw Sharpening with Bill Anderson
Bring your handsaws and show them that you care! You will learn to sharpen a rip panel saw (5-7 tpi) and a crosscut panel saw (7-10 tpi). Sharpen your own saws (or you can work on ours!). We'll study saw anatomy, restoring antique saws, and discuss merits of various sawsets, saw vises and saw tooth geometry. Finally, we'll work on rip and crosscut sawing techniques both with panel saws and with backsaws. All supplies included. 9am - 5.30pm. $135
