May 26: Carbonton to McIver Landing
Cruise through a few Class I rapids and past TLC's LaGrange Riparian Reserve over the course of this 6.5 mile paddle.
Jul 28: McIver Landing to Deep River Park
A fun Class I Rapid and interesting rock formations are highlights of this mostly flat water 6.5 mile trip.
Sept 29: Deep River Park to 15-501
Paddle past the impressive remains of the historic Endor Iron Furnace and learn about some of the intriguing history of the Deep River over this 6 mile trip.
Oct 27: 15-501 to US 1
Class I and II- rapids, and a difficult portage around the old Lockville Dam make this the most challenging section of the Deep through our region. Anyone joining us for this eight-mile paddle should be in good physical shape to be able to handle the Lockville Dam portage, often referred to as "the most difficult portage in the NC Piedmont."
